Very well, you may keep the species, though I am still pondering the regeneration ability. If he is indeed only partially vampire, his regeneration would not be as fast, and hence would not be immortal completely. So what I am saying is that he would live almost forever until he was taken either by blade, sickness, or any other cause of death.
