Poseidon walked quietly upon the forest floor. Above him, the stars and the moon shimmered like silver fish in the ocean waters. This was so peaceful to him, something he rarely got to do. He made his way over to a small clearing, where he found a large rock to sit upon. The werewolf let out a sigh. How tiresome the day had been. His sword clinked against the rock as he lay on his back, staring at the hevans. He let out a low howl, which grew louder and louder until it vibrated in the forest air.

Sliver growled suddenly as a long howl came from a short distance away, and then sniffed the air curiously. He lifted his head slightly, listening carefully as he creeped through the dark trees that made the Talishar woods, and his home. He slowly bit down on a chunk of meat that he had been eating, and then stripped off a piece of its flesh with his teeth, and then savored the tasted of its blood as he slowly approached the direction the noise had come from. As he sniffed the air again, he realized that it was not his next meal, but another werewolf.

Poseidon could smell the blood of a creature, along with one of his own kind. He didn't pay any attention as he let out another long howl to the moon. He scratched his head and neck with his claws as he watched the night go by. The werewolf was perfectly aware of the one behind him somewhere, but he didn't think it would bring him harm. By the smell of it, the beast had already eaten.

Slifer paused suddenly as something ran off nearby, breaking limbs as it tried to get away from him, but he didn't care as long as it wasn't charging him. He slowly ducked under one of the trees troublesome limbs, and avoided several roots as he walked along the bare earth, which felt cool under his toes. As he finished the piece of meat, he licked the blood from his claws, and then turned his attention to his stealth. He had not seen another werewolf for what seemed years. He would soon, though.

Poseidon heard something rustling in the leaves near by. Sniffing the air to identify what it was, he discovered it was a rabbit. Not really interested, he turned his attention back to the moon. It wasn't every night he got a chance to observe it when it was full. As a matter of fact, it wasn't every night he got to observe the moon at all. Unable to help himself, he let out a third and final howl.

Just as he could see the rock the werewolf was laying on, he knew it wouldn't mean him any harm. For a werewolf that would attack anything would be searching the forest for a victim, and would be laying on a rock. "Not every night I see another werewolf." Slifer said in a low growl, hoping to get the stranger's attention. "What business do you have here?"

Poseidon turned his head. "I just came to watch the moon." he said simply. "What buisness do you have here?" the werewolf returned the question. He picked up his wooden staff from the grass-coverd ground and began to play with it, tossing it in the air and catching it again, waiting for the other to respond.

"Me?" Slifer chuckled, stepping out into the open. "I live here, always have lived here." He glanced up to wards the moon, many other werewolves should be out, and he hoped that they would stay away. "The moon?" Slifer asked, wondering why another werewolf would travel into the Talishar woods to gaze at the moon. Rarely did he look up to the sky, for he was too busy studying his surroundings and making sure nothing was near.

"Yes, the moon." said Poseidon. He sat up on the rock and looked around. "Nice place." he commented. But a question struck him. "Why do you live in the forest when you could live in the village?"

"I prefer to be left alone. Why do you ask?" Slifer asked curiously, and then glanced around to make sure nothing was there, and then sniffed the air. The smell of other werewolves was strong, meaning that they might have to move soon if they were found.

"I ask, because I don't see many werewolves in the forest." he said. "We all live in the village. I am the blacksmith there, where I serve all customers of both werewolves and traveling humans." said Poseidon. He frowned as the moon was partially hidden behind a night cloud.

"I haven't been to the village in years, and I do not remember its location. So in a way, I am forced to live in these woods, but I do not have a problem with that. I get food, water, and shelter from this forest." Slifer crouched down, expecting to be in the same place for a while if this conversation continued, not that he minded, though.

"It's not far from here." said Poseidon. "Just a little over a mile." he heard another rustling in the trees. He looked over to see another rabbit hopping around the clearing, as if it was lost. "My name is Poseidon by the way. Poseidon Knight."

((Sorry I am not posting much, but I'm really tired right now. . .))
"A mile?" Slifer asked in disbelief. "I can't believe that its only a mile." Slifer paused suddenly, glancing up at the moon before continuing. "I am Slifer."

((It's okay))
Poseidon nodded. "Yes, a mile." he turned around to see the moon, revealed in the sky again that the cloud had gone. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Slifer." he said. The werewolf glanced over at the lost rabbit, who had apparently not found his warren yet.
