"Far from here, north from the Talishar woods." Leod replied. "Meaning. . . you would have to travel through the haunted wood to get there, but it is not called the shambler's swamp for no reason." He held out his index finger. "First off, its a bog, meaning there are countless diseases and snakes," He held out another finger. "And second, a foul race of creature dwells there. Called shamblers. They feed by absorbing their prey, dead or alive, into themselves. Which is why their bones are so valuable for making weapons. If someone is stabbed by a Kelost blade, it drinks their blood until they are drained completely."
(I'll probably add that to the weapons as well)

"Wow." said Robin, wondering why he had never heard of the swamp before. "Why was your dad at the swamp?" asked the elf, curious as to why someone would want to go to such a place.

"Same reason everyone else goes there." Leod answered cheerfully, despite being poked and prodded with questions. "They all thing there are fortunes to be found, caves full of gold and such." He chuckled, but then paused as Ziruth sniffed the meat, and then licked it with his rough forked tongue.

"Really?" said Robin. "That's cool! Do all dragons live there?" he asked. He felt sorry for asking so many questions, but his curiousity was great.

"No, just the Shamblers." Leod replied. "Most of the dragons live in Spirda, the elven city. Me and Ziruth have been there many times, mostly to just visit, but sometimes we stay there for weeks at a time." He informed, remembering the massive Melar trees, the bridges that connect them, and all of the dragons flying between them.

This was confusing to Robin. "Then what was your dragon's egg doing in the swamp?" he asked again, unsure if his questions had grown annoying or not. His stomach growled, and he looked over to the fire to see if the meat was fully cooked yet.

(*coughs* prophecy. *cough*)
"Coincidence, maybe?" Leod chuckled slightly. "Perhaps fate." He lifted his eyebrows slightly. Ziruth glanced curiously between Leod and Robin, and then back to the meat, seeing that it was almost done, be breathed a small jet of flame over it, cooking it faster until it was done.
"The meat is cooked." Ziruth said as he pulled his paw out of the fire, the meat on top of it. He nipped the end of the meat, barely sinking his teeth into it, and then picked it up and set it on a flat rock nearby so Leod or Robin could season it to their liking.

"That smells good." said Robin when the dragon had announced that it was finished. The smoke from the fire moved onto the elf, and he stood, coughing and sputtering, and made his way over to the flat rock. "Do you season your meat?" Robin asked Leod.

"Sometimes." He said somewhat grimly, remember when he had to eat the meat raw due to one of Ziruth's stubborn times, but that was far in the past and will never happen again. "Season it to your liking, I don't care." He finally replied.
Ziruth sniffed the meat again, but did not lick it this time for Robin might be disgusted by it, so he instead covered the fire in a pile of rocks and dirt, putting it out instantly for it was not cold.

"Okay." said Robin. He went back into the forest, quickly gathering what herbs and spices he recognized. The elf came back and sprinkled the plants onto the meat. Robin picked up the flat rock on which the food rested, and gave some to Leod. The elf was hungry, and ate his share of the food rather quickly. When he was full, he took the gold ball with strange markings out of his pocket, and waited for Leod to finish his food before he would ask the Dragon what he thought.

Leod pulled out a knife, and then skewered the chunk of meat that was his, but was still force to grab it with his hands due to its size, it was defiantly enough to feed him. He sliced off a small chuck with the knife and then stuffed it into his mouth, he was very hungry at the time.

Robin, deciding not to wait for Leod to finish afterall, lifted the object in his hand to the dragon. "I found this, do you know what it is?" he asked. "There's weird markings on it as well, but I've never seen them before."

Ziruth paused, and then plucked the orb carefully out of Robin's hand and held it closer to him. "I don't know," He paused in thought, while Leod watched him curiously. "I think its a seer stone, but I'm not sure. Where did you find this?" Ziruth's tone changed suddenly as he turned his attention to Leod.

"Seer?" questioned Robin. He had never heard the word before, but it sounded cool. "I found it in the tree over there." said the elf, pointing. If it was a stone, that meant that the markings were there from nature. Or maybe Robin was wrong. "What does 'seer' mean?" asked the curious elf.

"One who can look into the future as if it were happening before them, but they are very rare, making a seer stone even rarer." Leod explained, but there was no way to prove that it was a seer stone, only their belief was what made it so.
The Elders will know, if you wish to travel that far. If not, you can keep it. Ziruth said as he handed the orb back to Robin.
