Dragons
Dragons are very noble, loyal, and ancient beings, some living for thousands of years, those who do live this long become Elders, for their wisdom and guidance can be valuable to those who listen.
They are brave warriors, and often fight alongside elves and men, much like they did at the beginning of the ancient first alliance, at times of war. Though the legacy in their veins is thinning, causing much smaller species and causing them to no longer be equal.
Though they are no longer equal, they still co-exist with each other just fine, for they all have the same instincts. Hunt fierce, live peacefully, and die heroically.
Most of them live near or in the city of Spirda, located the the Veldon forest. Most have never left the dark embrace of the woods, though it seems there is no need, for food and water is in abundance.
Most have valued the presence of humans and elves since the First Alliance, thus began the Dragon Riders.
Elves
The elfin kind is a noble, ancient, and powerful race. Which had been intact for thousands of years since the first alliance. Tough it seems that alliance has been broken. The king and ruler of the elves was possessed by the ancient spirit of the Ghalth ruler that had died four thousand years ago. Dregan took what troops that were loyal to him and tricked them to convert themselves into Dark Elves, forcing death and deceit into their minds.
Though the elves lack a ruler, they still dwell in their forest, hoping that the Ghalth's do not return, for the true pain would be having to fight kin rather than what their swords would inflict. They could never recover enough to be a benefit in the war against the Ghalths. The humans were alone in this fight.
They live in almost complete solitude now, living off of their forest and helping it. This supposed act of cowardice has made humans dislike them, and the fact that the dark elves were once normal made the humans hate them.
The elves no longer carry gold except when they travel to any human cities, which it not often. They prefer to barter goods and supplies to many of the species who pass through, but they hardly ever take gold. Shelter is free in Spirda, a hint to any mortal that they are not evil, though it is not working.
Reya Clan (new species)
The beings of the Reya Clan are all in fact, Large cats. They appear and look just like their wild kin, but can often be told apart by the heavy armor upon their back or their large size, and that they can carry out a conversation with anything that speaks. They are slightly larger than normal, with their shoulder standing at least a foot higher than regular tigers.
How they came to be is a myth, some say that they were enchanted by magic, some say they were granted a gift by the gods, though the true answer in unknown. Still they are a noble and powerful race, much like the dragons, though they can not fly and are not as large.
They are incredible hunters, and are much more skilled than their woodland kin. Much like the humans difference to the elves, but they are not immortal. They do live as long as humans, though.
Their speech is different than that of the dragons, for they speak using a voice rather than their mind, though even with that, most humans are afraid of them, almost as much as dragons.
