A new beginning (Open)

[Z, the slayer]

Z dropped the firewood into his previous fireplace. "I came from a place called Mirawold." He pretended to try to start a fire, but sparked a small flame from his finger while Arc wasn't looking.

"This place isn't too different. Dragons are extinct extinct in Mirawold. So tell me about yourself. Do you normally greet strangers this way?"
He tried to get into a warmer position. Mirawold was much warmer than this.

[Crow]

"Sometimes" Arc said, shrugging. "I'm not usually social." Arc hoped he wouldn't have to sleep here, in human form, Oh so uncomfortable he thought.

"so what brings you here?" he asked.

[Z, the slayer]

Z had a dark look over his face.
"War." He paused. "I've spent the last eight months traveling on one of this land's merchant ships."

"I'll be right back", he said, looking at Arc's uncomfortable expression. He left the rotting building and came back with several long, leaf covered branches. "It isn't much, but it will provide us with some better sleep.

"We are still strangers, so please understand that somethings I will keep to myself, as I am sure you will hide some things too. At any rate, I am glad to meet you Arc. Any friend in this new world will help".

[Crow]

"War." Arc flinched at the word, he hated war.

"It isn't much, but it will provide us with some better sleep."

Great he expects me to sleep here He thought

"We are still strangers, so please understand that somethings I will keep to myself, as I am sure you will hide some things too. At any rate, I am glad to meet you Arc. Any friend in this new world will help".

" You have no idea" He said to himself.

[Z, the slayer]

Z laid down, but didn't go to sleep.
"Tell me, Arc, what do you do? Are you a traveler, or merchant? If you'd prefer to say nothing, that is perfectly fine."
It was too cold for Z, unless he got close to the fire, which he would prefer to avoid.

He wrote a rune on the wall, trying his best to keep it hidden. It meant "Sweet Dreams" from his home land. Z felt the spell suddenly hit him, and he felt dizzy and tired. He couldn't stay awake long enough to hear Arc's reply.

[Crow]

"I'm a t-" Arc broke off midsentence. Z Had fallen sleep.

"well guess iam sleeping like this tonight" he sighed "so uncomfortable"

[Z, the slayer]

Z continues to sleep through the night with a powerful slumber
(I'm waiting for something else to come up)

[Crow]

( hah lol. so was i oh well. i guess i gotta do it)

Arc awoke to a sudden noise. "Wha, who's there?" he mummbled.

He only needed to smell the air to tell. "Vampire" he said.

"wake up" nudging Z with his foot. "we have a problem."

[Z, the slayer]

Z was tossing from his painful dream.
Apparently, "sweet" actually means "force" in this place.
He realized that he would have to readjust his powers to this world.

Arc woke Z up. "Thank you, Arc.". Arc looked concerned, and then Z noticed why. There was a dark force nearby. Something undead, but powerful. Z slowly crept toward the door, and peaked outside. Z gasped, and almost gave away his location.

On the ground was a humanoid, guzzling the blood flowing from it's human victim's neck.
A Vampire? I never knew they existed.
Z pulled out his staff, and grazed his hand along it. The long staff now gave off a slightly white luminescent glow.
He whispered to Arc.
"Can you fight?"

[Crow]

"yes i can. But not with these" he said, pointing to his weapons.

"Will you promise not to kill me?" As he threw his weapons to the ground he began to shake as he phased, a faint growl escaped his now bared teeth.

[~Sunwing~]

Silvia stepped out of the shadows carrying a covered basket. Her hair was undone and messy. Her slippers made naught a sound. "I am sorry, but I... well followed you. I noticed you didn't have many supplies." She said as she swept her hair behind her ears so it wasn't in her face. "I brought you some food..."

Maybe they will kill me the thought shocked her, though it was too late now.

Her blue gaze remained on them, and off the dead man. "I know there is a vampire here. So if you need a warm place to stay and safe, also you could have one of our horses. Don't ask me why I do this." She said.

[Z, the slayer]

"Errgh, now is not the time for this." He was irritated that he was not only followed, but the woman chose NOW to show herself. Z noticed Arc change into an oversized wolf. "Hmm..." This explained his strange aether in his bloodstream.

"Make yourself useful" he said to Silvia as he handed her his dagger.

[~Sunwing~]

Silvia nodded and took the blade, her rose shone very brightly in the firelight as she took it. She quicky closed her hand on the dagger so it stopped shining.

[Z, the slayer]

Z took one look at his companions and rushed out the door. There was no movement or oddities, besides the corpse. He crouched to the body.

A large blood puddle surrounded the wound on the neck.
"Alem deh Varsc Sin" (Punishment will come from this sin)

There was a burst of movement. Z abruptly turned. He thrusted his arm outward. "Dadango!" A blinding flash of light erupted from his palm. The vampire was blasted back with incredible force. The spell was so powerful that there were burns on Z's hands, and his arm fractured from the recoil.
"Ugh! Damn." His arm lay limp to his side. With the vampire motionless, he began to relax.

A body suddenly jumped from the darkness and lashed out at Z.
"What the-!" The swipe gashed his chest. Z grabbed his glowing staff. He barely had time to block the undead's next attack. "You two, help!"
His strength was diminishing due to his wound and broken arm. He would not be able to hold off the vampire for long.

[~Sunwing~]

Silvia looked for something in the house. The dagger would do some good damage but she needed something blunt.

"Aha!" She grabbed a large metal frame and broke off the 3 other frames connecting so she only had one. the dagger fit perfectly perfectly and stuck in it. She ran out with a makeshift spear.

My gosh the vampire did some damage to him! She ran up to the back of the vampire and turned her spear around and swung with all her strength and hit it on the back of the head which nocked it the ground. Then she started stabbing it with the dagger end.
