Asha glared at him. " he is NOT going anywhere without me." she pulled the dagger away and hsoved it in her belt. then she walked towards the dragon. she pointed at him and said " i have every intention of getting on your back and staying there. try to throw me and i'll hurt you too."

Asha crawled up the dragon's leg and slid into the saddle that was on its back. she watched as the elf climbed the way she had, liam over his shoulder. when he was closer she reached down and pulled Liam up to her. she wrapped one arm around his waist and the other over his chest. his head rested on her shoulder. she whispered in his ear as more tears filled her eys. " dont worry Liam, i've got you."

Aubrey sat behind the girl to make sure she wouldnt fall off. she had her arms securely wrapped around her friend- Liam she called him. As Drake took off he saw her waver a little. before he could stop himself he shot out a hand and wrapped his arm around her. " im sorry." he said. he could tell this girl didnt like being touched.
Drake flew as fast as he could to the healers. Aubrey was off his back and running almost before they landed. after the healers had Liam inside he turned to the girl just as she couldnt stand anymore.

Asha fell forward into the elf's arms. She let herself cry. there wasnt anything else she could do.

"Drake, help." Aubrey screamed to his dragon. the girl was sobbing and he was freaking out.
" i dont know what to do with a crying girl." Drake said. " im just as baffled as you."
Aubrey sank to the ground with her in his arms. " What should i do?"
" what would you do for your sister?"
Aubrey wrapped his arms around her shoulders and tucked her head under his chin. " dont worry. they'll take care of him."

A surge of air rushed into Liam's lungs and he coughed, choking on the suddenly unfamiliar substance. He gasped trying to get more oxygen. As soon as his head was clear he forced away all the healers and stood up. " Asha!" he yelled. " Asha!" he ran out into the hall. he didnt make it ten steps before Asha was running towards him.
