( i'm going to ignore that ok?)
Kale looked at her again. She looked emberassed. he thought for a moment before answering."I'm not sure." he said truthfully. "at least. i'm not entirely sure. i was alone when i was first bitten. well not really alone, but i was." Kale sighed. he took a deep breath trying to keep himself under control. he closed his eyes. when he finally opened them she was staring at him with a slight terrified look. it was so nexpected that he actually laughed a little. ' see even i still have trouble. he said sobering up.he looked at the fire and was silent.

[Niera]

Niera was confused. first he was quiet, then he was tounge-tied, then he laughed? when he looked at the fire she began to understand a little. she felt as if she needed to know more about him. for her sake if not his too.
" if you don't mind me asking, how did you get bitten?"

[Ayzlyn]

Kale took a deep breath before begining his story. " we were out going on some business of state and there were these things... vampires. my father pushed me into the woods. they killed eveyone. Except me. wheen i went back there was a wolf and ..." he took another deep brath and pulled his shirt calar awy from his neck, revealing the scar on his neck. he heard her gasp. " I didn't blame the wolf, only the vampires. A s soon as i was old enough i started hunting them." he pushed up his sleave. his arm was covered in scars from puncture wounds in the shape of fangs.

[Niera]

Niera was horrified. his story was horrible. she began to reach out to touch his arm, hesitated, then looked for aproval. he nodded and she took his arm in her hands. she examined it closely and he sat silently.
" i'm sorry about your family. How old were you?" she asked lettiing him go.

[Ayzlyn]

Kale pushed his sleave back. " 15." he took another calming breath. " I don't know why i told you all of this. i've never told anyone. I don't even know your name." Kale hook his head. he was acting really weird tonight.

[Niera]

" my name is Niera." she said. " i'd tell you how i was turned but i don't even know. all i know is i have this." She turned her back on him and pulled her clothes off her right shoulder, showing him the eye-shaped birthmark.

[Ayzlyn]

kale was shocked that she would reveal even a small part of her bare skin, but forgot about it as soon as he saw the mark. forcing himself to his knees he moved closer to her. " may I?" he asked. she nodded, still keeping her back to him. Kale slowly touched her shoulder, making her shiver. he traced it , looking for patterns or clues. It didn't look like a natural birhtmark. ' it looks like a tatoo under your skin." he said. " i've never seen anything like this." He pulled his hand away and she pulled her shirt back up.

[Niera]

" i don't know how i got it or when i became a wolf. It just sort of was suddenly there. i know that sounds crazy but its true." she faced him again. " you better lay down before you tear that open." she gestured to his side. Kale winced as he tried to sit back down. Niera helped him back and he slid to a sleeping position.

[Ayzlyn]

" remind me never to sneak up on you." kale said as he tried to find a place that didn't hurt to lay on. he almost couldn't breathe from the pain. he winced every time he moved. he had dealt with alot of pain before, but he had never morphed with an injury. That made it worse.

[Ayzlyn]

" you sound like we're going to be together for a while." Niera looked up at him through her eyelashes.

[Ayzlyn]

Kale whipped around quickly to gape at her but doubled over in pain. the motion had caused his wound to tear open. fresh blood soaked his side in seconds.

[Niera]

Niera threw her self over to Kale's side, leaning over him to see the wound. She tried to pry his hands away, but he was clamping them so tight to the wound the blood was seeping through his fingers. she looked at his face and saw something she never thought she'd see. Fear. his eyes had turned the bright yellow of a wolf's and he wasnt blinking. "Kale?"

[Ayzlyn]

Kale almost stopped breathing as he pressed on the wound. he bit back a cry of pain as his fingers dug into the flesh. he turned to Niera and heard her gasp. " run" he whispered.

[Niera]

" what is it?" Niera was looking around wildly. a loud screaching from the woods caught her attention.
