Fear

[Niera]

They said these woods were haunted by creatures of terror, Niera thought. Only to them.
Niera was able to walk freeley among the beast of this forest. They feared her. Not only was she a werewolf she was also an excellent fighter.

[Ayzlyn]

Kale raised his head. Yes, there it was. He knew he'd caught a sent. this bloodsucker wasn't very careful. wait.. the sent wasn't vampire...it was werewolf. Shewolf for that matter. It had been some time since Kale had come across another wolf. he wondered quietly to himself if this shewolf was a foe. theres only one way to find out , he thought and began to run east , toward the sent, toward the wolf.

[Niera]

A flock of birds flew up from the trees to the west. Niera pulled out her dagger and backed into the cover of a bush. she inhaled deeply trying to catch a scent. there want any. whoever or whatever this was they were smart staying downwind. she grumbled and watched the trees waiting for a sign of movement.

[Ayzlyn]

Kale was soo intent in his task that he never stopped to think. he came to where the sent was strongest . he circled once looking for an opening, and then he leaped, flying toward the other beast.
( you can wound me but i don't want to die!)

[Niera]

niera heard the first rustle and was ready. She pulled out her dagger and held it at her side.when the creature. jumped from the trees she was hardly startled by the fact that it was another werewolf. she would have stopped it from attacking her but it was clearly set on hurting her. as it passed over her head she ducked down and shoved her dagger up into its side. the creature grunted then fell to the ground.

[Ayzlyn]

Kale felt the dagger enter his body and instantly knew what was going to happen. before he hit the ground he began to fight; if this girl morphed and he was an injured human she could kill him. he was unsuccessful. he managed to get to his feet but wavered then fell back. as he raised his paw to his wound he felt it change to a hand.

[Niera]

Niera watched as he stood. She picked up her bow and knocked an arrow, ready to shoot. then, he looked at her. something in his eyes made her freeze; it both intreged and frightened her. she stepped back and gasped in suprise as he began to change. in a few seconds the fearsome wolf infront of her had changed to a clearly wounded ,but still fearsome, man.

[Ayzlyn]

Kale looked away from the girl. he pulled his hand backi; it was covered in blood. although Kale was strong willed enough to fight pain he couldn't help a gasp and moan of pain. he looked once more at the girl, pleading with her to spare him, and fell sideways onto his back.

[Niera]

Niera kept her bow ready as she walked over to him. she looked down athim, at the grimace of pain on his face. she thought about killing him or jut leaving him, but he had only done what any other person would have done: protected their territory. making a split decision she threw down her bow and knelt by him. without mercy she pulled out the dagger, bringing a fresh flow of blood and anohter cry of pain. she ripped open his shirt, tore a strip of fabric off her shirt an stanched the bleeding with it. quickly and efficiently, she cleaned the wound, bandaged it and wrapped his clothes back around him.

[Ayzlyn]

the next thing Kale knew he was next to a fire, the smell of cooking meat filling his senses.he tried to sit up but winced. fighting the pain, he sat up and opened his shirt. he examined the dressing. it was well done. the sound of footsteps made him look up. the girl was coming back into the clearing, if thats what it could be called. kale noted that she looked as if she could use her bow as good as the dagger. her arms were lean with muscle and the look on her face said that she didn't care what anyone thought of her. he watched her as she dropped the pile of wood she was carrying. she glance at him, walked around the fire and squated next to him. without a word she leaned over and checked the bandage.

[Niera]

niera wasn't suprised to see him sitting up. he seemed strong and she admired him for it even if she knew she shouldn't. After setting own her wood she walked around to check his bandage. He appeared to have some knowledge of medicine but she couldn't be to sure. she bent down and leaned toward him. she tried to be gentle as she pushed him back a little. she wasn't trying to be nice . she just didn't want him to get angry. she began to get a little anxious as she looked over the wound; he hadn't lookd away from her since she entered the clearing, as if he were trying to see her better and she through her at the same time. " what is your name?" she asked trying to distract him.

[Ayzlyn]

Kale was surprised, yet at the same time he wasn't, that she was so gentle. it hadn't occurred to him that anyone, especially a werewolf, could be so gentle. he would have fought her when she made him lay farther back but she was just trying to help. he watched intently as her slim hands worked. he watched the seriousness in her face, again noticing how beautiful she was. he was startled when she asked his name , but didn't look away. " Kale. " he said. at the sound of his voice she looked up and he was stuck.

[Niera]

"kale' was his reply, but thats not what shocked her. niera hadn't expected the way his voice sounded. she looked up to make sure it was still him and she couldn't look away. his eyes were still the same startling gold they had been when he was a wolf. it scared her a bit.

[Ayzlyn]

( i'm going to add like one word for Niera to say)

kale had yet to get a close up of her eyes. now that he had he saw that they were grey-blue and the most beautiful eyes he had ever seen. what is wrong with me?, he thought. He closed his eyes tightly and turned away.
" sorry" she said. kale looked at her and realized she thought she'd hurt him. she was watching her work again.
" It wasn't you" he said quietly.

[Niera]

( same here)
He must have been fighting it for a moment.i hope he doesn't loose control, niera thought, and at the same time thinking the same of herself. " how do you do it?" she asked him.
" do what?" he asked.
" how do you control it? i've only ever heard rumors of people being to control it. the morph that is. how do upu do it?"
